Method and apparatus for data readout and acquisition
A
new method and apparatus is described for simultaneous continuous readout of a
large number of data channels from multiple sensors for setups and installations
where the use of multiple Amplitude-to-Digital Converters is not practical or
causes undesirable extra noise and distortions in the data.

Use of Off-axis Injection as an Alternative to Geometrically Merging Beams in an ERL
This
invention describes a method of using off-axis particle beam injection in
energy-recovering linear accelerators to increase operational efficiency, while
also eliminating the need to merge high-energy recirculating beam with an
injected low-energy beam.

A Single Lens Laser Beam Shaper Converting Gaussian Beam to Super-Gaussian Beam for Suppression of Uniformity Destruction Induced by Diffraction Effect
This
simplified general design procedure is for designing laser beam shapers capable
of redistributing an arbitrary beam profile into any desired output profile,
allowing a significant reduction of destructive effects on beam uniformity
induced by diffraction and providing much longer working distance for practical
applications.
